SparkNano expert speaker at ALD/ALE 2025
We are proud to announce that SparkNano’s CTO, Dr. Paul Poodt, has been invited as an expert speaker at the upcoming AVS 25th International Conference on Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD 2025), taking place in Jeju Island, South Korea. He will deliver a presentation on Low Temperature Spatial Atomic Layer Deposition of LiF Films for Li-ion Batteries.
In his talk, Paul will address the limitations of current LiF thin film deposition techniques used in Li-ion battery electrodes—such as high deposition temperatures, film contamination, and dependence on hazardous or greenhouse gas-based co-reactants.
Time & Date: 1:45 – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 25, 2025
Location: Room Halla Hall
Session: AA1 – WeA Battery Applications I
Moderators: Wei-Min Li, Jiangsu Leadmicro Nano-Equipment Technology Ltd., China, Keith Wong, Applied Materials
About the event
The AVS 25th International Conference on Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD 2025) featuring the 12th International Atomic Layer Etching Workshop (ALE 2025) is a three-day event dedicated to the science and technology of atomic layer-controlled deposition and etching of thin films.
Since 2001, the ALD conference has been held alternately in the United States, Europe and Asia, allowing fruitful exchange of ideas, know-how and practices between scientists.
As in past conferences, the meeting will be preceded (Sunday, June 22) by one day of tutorials and perspectives and a welcome reception. Sessions will take place (Monday-Wednesday, June 23-25) along with an industry tradeshow. All presentations will be audio-recorded and provided to attendees following the conference.
